I continue to be amazed. This lady approached me and gave me a hug and $20 to go get a steak dinner.
I experienced the biggest T-storm ever in a tent last night. It was a little scary at times with lightning crashing beside me

Headed to Lowman, ID. This is my campsite right on the river in Mountain View campground.

Elk City general store that served me the best double cheese burger EVER

Welcome to Elk City, ID...absolutely nothing here but a cafe and the road ends
Met the coolest group of guys in Elk City. They have ridden all over the world. We talked all night exchanging stories
Sorry I have been out of touch. I have been in the canyons and rivers of Idaho. From Elk City to Stanley, ID.

View from my new campsite at Fish Creek in Glacier NP.
Wrecked my bike and broke the left side case. Im ok but now it wont retract because the bracket is bent inside.

Eating huckleberries freshly picked right here in Glacier NP. They taste like really tart blueberries

Why didnt I bring my fly rod?! It's free fishing in Glacier NP
I about didnt make it last night I was so cold. One more night here and hopefully it wont dip that low again.
I cant say this enough. People are good. I was just given a bundle of wood cause my fire was going out on this cold night.

8.06.2010

Thought I lost this photo. Me standing in Wind River Canyon, WY. Amazing ride.
Another feast for dinner. A cliff bar and a watermelon sucker. Oh I live too lavish sometimes.

Aaahhh there's nothing like a sink shower to refresh yourself haha
It's funny how modern man hunts. My prey of choice is power outlets to feed my hungry gadgets.

More mountain goats on the trail. This was one has a baby trailing behind it.
Had a crazy thunderstorm last night. And now we are getting another one. But its so peaceful echoing through the mountains
Hiking was unbelievable today. Rained mid morning but pushed on through to some amazing views. Saw plenty of wildlife as well

I think this sums up the day. Busted headlight, rain, hail, 400miles, and park congestion.
And it gets worse...HAIL
This day is a total wash. Got to be the most disappointed I have ever felt. Also its been pouring rain for the last 40 miles.

Come to Yellowstone and see all the beautiful people...I am out of here. Heading north.
So frustrated! Yellowstone is a madhouse. Frankly I do not recommend this park to anyone. Its the Walmart of parks.
Once again the generosity from people comes through. Met JC at my campsite and he invited me over for beer and bbq. Awesome

Riding through my first lightning storm just outside Thermopolis, WY
In Cody, WY...10 miles from Yellowstone NP

Sunset at Boysen State Park, WY
